Maintaining a Healthy Community

The UT Health Services Center will make flu shots available to students, faculty and staff beginning October 25. UTA encourages  all to get a seasonal flu shot early this fall as one step to maintaining a healthy community.  In an article found at Highlight Health found that hand shakes, water fountains, elevator buttons and door knobs were amoung the top ten places where flu germs hide.

To avoid the spread of germs:

  1. Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer.
  2. Cover your coughs and sneezes.
  3. Do not attend class or go to work if you are ill or experiencing a fever.
