Black History Month

The University of Texas at Arlington embraces diversity among its students, staff, faculty and administration. Multicultural Affairs helps students get involved and create an inclusive campus community. February is National Black History month and students give a take on what it means to them and who their favorite heroes are. Some of the students favorite African American heroes include Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., President Barack Obama, Rosa Parks and Oprah Winfrey. UT Arlington students enjoy having a diverse campus and learning about all the different cultures around them.
