University of Arlington gets a new Athletic Director

University of Texas-Arlington received a new Athletic Director effective February 1st. Jim Baker will head the athletic program. Baker just had to take the drive north on I-35 to take on his new role, as he was Associate Athletic Director at the University of Texas-Austin for the past 20 years. UTA coaches as well as President of the school James Spaniolo are excited about the experience Baker brings to the University. Baker will be the 6 athletic director at the University of Arlington since they have become a NCAA Division 1 program.
