The Mavericks men’s basketball team played a couple of road games this past week. On Tuesday, the Mavs extended their record game winning streak to 16 games when U-T-A roared back to defeat Stephen F. Austin 51 to 47. However the Mavs were unable to keep the streak going on Saturday night. As a part of the ESPN Sears Bracket Buster series, Weber State drained 14 three pointers in a nail biter to beat the Mavs 72 to 70. U-T-A will take their undefeated conference record to Lake Charles Louisiana when the Mavs take on McNeese State on Wednesday night.
