Graduate School at UTA

UTA offers a wide variety of graduate programs. There are over 70 master’s degrees available and 30 doctoral degrees. Student Lauren Ellison is unsure if she will attend graduate school because of the cost. Courtney Griffitts is a graduate student and part time lecturer teaching French. Courtney says that being in the graduate program has given her a larger perspective of her field of study and having a master’s degree will make it where she can be a teacher. Director of Graduate Recruiting Alisa Johnson tells about the different requirements to get into a graduate program. Johnson also says the time spent in graduate school depends on the program. Some programs can take only 30 semester hours where as some can take up to 70 semester hours. If you would like to know more about the programs offered at UTA visit grad.pci.uta.edu.
