UTA has began to cater to those students who are mothers. Nursing moms now have five locations to use for breast feeding. These rooms are meant to create a safe, quiet, and private place for mothers to express milk during their days on campus. Durl Rather, the Associate Director of Campus Recreation was the only source of a high position that was able to give any information on the rooms. According to Rather, the rooms have been open and in use for about a year. For more information on the rooms and where they are located, visit uta.edu/hr/wellness.
