Hazing Prevention Week 2012

The Division of Student Affairs hosted Hazing Prevention Week at the University Center. Hazing Prevention Week is a national event which goal is to educate students about the dangers of hazing. Many organizations across campus came out to show awareness about hazing in organizations such as Greek, bands sports, and clubs. Students across campus came out to sign a banner pledging against hazing. Each day shirts were given out to the first 150 students who signed the banner. The Assistant Director of the Office of Student conduct talked about the importance of the awareness of hazing and how it doesn’t affect just a certain groups in a university.
