RSVP Clothesline Project

Every two and a half minutes, somewhere in the US, someone is sexually assaulted. (www. rainn.org)
The clothesline project, hosted by RSVP, has been an even on the campus of UTA for three years. This event has been designed to represent women who have been victims of sexual violence. Students on campus can go in the gallery and make a shirt putting things that have happened to them, or just words of encouragement for others. They then hang the clothes on the line, as a symbol of leaving their past behind, and moving on to create a brighter future.
