UTA continues to build towards the future, yet some faculty members and students feel stuck in the past. The social work building is a landmark and was Arlington’s first public school established in 1902. The building seems to be falling apart, and is holding on by a bolt. As the outside structure leans, the effect of it is being seen inside. A push for reconstruction or relocating the social work department to a new build could resolve the issues. Some social work students do not know about the structure, but are starting to feel unsafe.
