Students, faculty and staff celebrated the launch of a new research center in the life science building. This new facility is the Shimadzu Center for Bio- Molecular Imaging. Researchers from UTA or other universities can use the new facility to submit samples for analysis or use it for their own research purposes. The center will provide expertise for peptide sequencing, protein analysis and micro-organism identification. The new open access research center is located in the life science building basement room B-05A.
