Muslims of UTA Special: Part 2

This week, we took a look at what life is like for a couple of international Muslim students living on campus. The international community at UTA is undoubtedly one of the largest and most diverse.  For many international students, leaving one’s home to travel to a foreign place and pursue an education in a different culture takes courage and strength.

Tazeen Jafri is an internaional student who traveled from Dubai, UAE and Mohammad AlSharaf traveled from Kuwait in the Middle East. They talk about what factors drew them to the University, their reaction to the different lifestyle and culture of the University, challenges they faced and how they overcame those challenges.
