This was a special event for the store that’s very UTA friendly (10% discounts? Yes please!) because it was their 2nd anniversary of having their name. They had food and lots of vendors there selling all sorts of cool stuff that were all made by hand. Behind the vendors, they actually had a Volkswagen contest! I only knew of the bugs, but they had buses and other types as well. There were prizes usually in the form of a gift certificate to Groovy Goods, but I think the main point was to show off. They also had a few bands play their music there while you shopped and voted on your favorite Volkswagen.
The evening is when things get really fun, because that’s when the drumming, dancing, and fire-spinning start! It was then that I was able to get an interview from the owner and one of the dancers, because of how busy they all were during the day.
