ASCE hosts Dodgeball Tournament

The American Society of Civil Engineering hosted a dodgeball tournament on Friday, October 23rd to raise money for a competition they have coming up this spring. A total of 10 teams signed up and participated in the event that lasted roughly three hours. Students of all engineering majors as well as the student body were encouraged to participate. What separated this particular sporting event from others was that they didn’t provide the usual slice of pizza or hot dog for concessions, but rather root beer floats, a society tradition. ASCE member, A.J Czubai said, “It just catches peoples attention when they hear dodgeball and root beer floats in the same sentence. It’s an original event and the turn out was great.”
