Library Week Unplugging

April 10th kicked off National Library Week. To show our support we challenged four UT Arlington students to unplug from technology for an hour.

The students were asked to give up their phones or any devices they may have had on them, they were required to find or have something to do within the hour and lastly each student was asked to stay in the library.

One student Renee Yan, did not bring anything to the technology detox. Instead she used the library resources to find a book. This did not require her to get on a computer and look for a book. She physically spoke to a library staff member and they helped her find the book of her choice.

Each student completed the one hour challenge of unplugging, and gave us insight of what their thought process was throughout the cleanse.
