Human Trafficking Awareness

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Students are looking to bring down the numbers of human trafficking by spreading the word on campus. Colleagues and staff are working together to raise awareness by providing facts on a billboard in Building A of the School of Social Work. Mary McCoy gives a statement on how we, as individuals, should approach this issue and Social Work Majors, Taelor Faulkner and Jacob Rosenberg, give their opinions on what students should do in this situation. Even though January is coming to a close, students and staff should encourage other scholars to still be on the lookout as numbers continue to rise.
