On Wednesday April 5th, students gathered on the basement level of the Central Library for the monthly Tail Waggin’ Wednesday. This is where students at UTA can engage with conversations with the dog owners and also can be used a stress relief mechanism as finals are approaching. I had a chance to catch up with outreach and events specialist, Kariakis Newman, and she explained he thoughts on why she feels the event is important to students around campus. For future reference, Tail Waggin’ Wednesdays will be changed for Paws for Finals for finals week in May. Students are more than welcome to stop by!
