With so many extra curricular activities and organizations to join, the A Cappella family here at The University of Texas at Arlington encourages students to audition regardless of singing background. Junior Music Education major, Ashley Dean, says one of the things she really enjoys about the organization is the care and concern that the members show toward one another. She expresses that the choir is not just a class, but more so a family. Cole Casey, also a Junior Music Education major, agrees that the family aspect of the A Capella choir is what helped him acclimate to college living. The choir sings under the direction of Dr. Kenaston-French, and says she’s an excellent conductor who has helped make a positive impact on their present, as well as their future.
