UTA Basketball Gears Up for the Season

The UTA Basketball team is coming off a disappointing second place finish in the Sun Belt last year after losing to Georgia State in the championship game. After losing 8 seniors and firing head coach Scott Cross, the Mavs look a lot different this year. They hire Chris Ogden from Texas Tech, to come in and lead the Mavs, as well as bring in several transfer players. With 2 letter winners returning in Scott Muirhead and DJ Bryant, the Mavs look for new leaders to step up. With a lot on the line this year, the team has a positive attitude as they head into Homecoming against Northern Iowa.
