Hispanic Media and Marketing International Conference

The Department of Communication at UTA and College of Media and Communication of Texas Tech University co hosted the 7th Hispanic Media and Marketing International Conference. A conference that focuses on culture, identity, and language. A series of panels with various topics such as Threats in Mexican Journalism, Diversity in Media, and Mexican Political Communication were discussed. The three distinct characteristics of the conference were the active participation by the professionals working in Hispanic and Latino media, contributions from U.S. and international scholars, and involvement by students from many universities across the world.
