UTA Student Government Helps Students Register to Vote

The time to register to vote is here and UTA’s Student Government is encouraging students to participate. For college students, thinking about how the voting process works and how to register, can seem
overwhelming. The Student Government at UTA, hosted an event in front of the University Center last Tuesday during National Registration Day. They offered students resources and information to register to make the process easier. Chief of Staff, Honest Kapic, told us that the lowest demographic of voting is ages 18 to 29. The UTA Student Government was also asking students for their opinion towards why they vote or don’t
vote.
